  • Do I need an appointment to visit Lifeline?

    No appointment is necessary! However, we strongly encourage you to join our waitlist or call ahead to check for availability. This helps us to significantly reduce your time in the waiting room and ensures a smoother experience. We’ll notify you as soon as we’re ready for your visit.

  • What are your operating hours?

    Our hours are 10AM to 8PM on weekdays and 8AM to 6PM on weekends. We are closed overnight.

  • What types of animals do you treat?

    We specialize exclusively in treating cats and dogs. Our facility is equipped and staffed to handle the unique needs of these specific pets, ensuring the best possible care for your furry family members.

  • What types of cases do you see?

    We treat a wide range of urgent and emergency situations for cats and dogs. This includes, but is not limited to:


    • Injuries: such as wounds, fractures, bites, and accidents
    • Sudden Illnesses: including vomiting, diarrhea, respiratory issues, and severe allergic reactions
    • Toxin Ingestion: if your pet has eaten something harmful or poisonous
    • Pain or Lethargy: unexplained discomfort, limping, or inability to move
    • Difficulty breathing or other signs of distress
    • Eye and Ear Issues: including infections, sudden vision changes, or injuries

  • Do you handle major surgeries?

    Yes, we offer a range of surgical services, including emergency surgeries such as foreign body removal, C-sections, and wound repair. If a more specialized procedure is needed, we can facilitate a transfer to an appropriate hospital.

  • What should I bring to my pet’s urgent care visit?

    Please bring any relevant medical records, vaccination history, and a list of medications your pet is currently taking. If your pet ingested something harmful, bring any packaging or information about the substance.

  • How long will I have to wait to see a veterinarian?

    We aim to minimize wait times. If you join our waitlist or call ahead to check for availability, we can prepare for your arrival and reduce your time in the waiting room. We will notify you as soon as we have availability. Wait times may vary depending on the number of pets in need of urgent care at that time.

  • Are you Fear-Free Certified?

    Yes! Our Fear-Free Certified team is trained to reduce stress and anxiety in pets during their visit. We use calming techniques to create a more comfortable experience for both pets and owners.

  • Do you accept pet insurance?

    With all insurance the client pays for services at the time or service, and then they submit a claim to their insurance for reimbursement. We will gladly provide any receipts or visit summaries to your insurance to assist in the process.

  • Do you offer payment plans?

    We do not offer payment plans directly, but we do accept Care Credit and Scratchpay.

  • What should I do if my pet needs care outside of your operating hours?

    If your pet has an emergency outside of our hours, we recommend contacting a 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital. We’ll also provide referrals for specialized or overnight care when needed.

  • What If My Pet Needs More Care Than You Can Provide?

    Should your pet end up requiring care beyond our capabilities, we will provide initial treatment and diagnosis, then facilitate a seamless transfer to an appropriate 24-hour center to ensure your pet’s ongoing needs are met. Trust Lifeline Animal Urgent Care to be your go-to emergency and urgent care center. We are here to support you and your pets, providing peace of mind when you need it most.
