Bucky’s journey into veterinary medicine was driven by a desire to help both pets and their owners during times of distress. Having spent significant time in hospitals himself, he understands how challenging those moments can be, and he strives to bring comfort and calm to every situation.
With over a decade of experience in customer service, Bucky has honed the ability to de-escalate tense situations and approach clients with empathy and clear communication. This skill is invaluable when working with pet owners who may feel overwhelmed during urgent care visits.
Growing up in Japan, Bucky spent time on his grandparents’ farm, where he developed a love for animals and appreciated how different species could coexist in harmony. Today, his home is filled with a diverse array of pets, including four cats, a dog, four snakes, four tarantulas, and a bearded dragon.
Bucky is especially passionate about emergency care in veterinary medicine, valuing its importance and the knowledge it provides for unexpected situations. He prioritizes calm and clear intent when working with pets, helping them feel safe and secure during their visit.
Outside of work, Bucky is an amateur chef who loves cooking dishes like paella, risotto, and Japanese-inspired cuisine. His goal at Lifeline Animal Urgent Care is to ease the worries of pet owners while delivering compassionate care to their beloved animals.
