Meet Christine, a dedicated member of the team at Lifeline Animal Urgent Care. Christine's passion for animals began at a young age, and her love for them inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. What she loves most about her work is spending her days surrounded by animals, ensuring they receive the highest quality care. Christine thrives in the dynamic nature of veterinary medicine, always learning something new and never bored.
With a special interest in exotics and wildlife, Christine brings a wealth of knowledge to the team, particularly in exotic medicine and handling. One of her most memorable experiences was participating in the inspection and release for the conservation of diamondback terrapins on Poplar Island in Maryland—an unforgettable opportunity to contribute to wildlife preservation.
At home, Christine has a quirky family of pets, including Irma, a cattle dog/terrier mix; Taco, a tuxedo cat; and Amoeba, a Lykoi (werewolf cat). Each one is a clingy, lovable weirdo, much like Christine herself. She understands that every pet is unique, so she tailors her approach to ensure they feel comfortable and safe during their visits.
Christine’s true passion lies in patient care, particularly in the ICU, where she thrives in providing comfort and support to critically ill or hospitalized patients. She is dedicated to treating every pet with the same care and compassion she would give her own.
To continue growing in her field, Christine stays current with continuing education, reads news articles, and engages with other veterinary professionals. Outside of work, she has a fun hobby—she owns an axolotl, adding to her collection of unique pets! At Lifeline Animal Urgent Care, Christine is committed to offering pet owners peace of mind, knowing their pets are receiving compassionate and expert care.
