Meet Dr. Henry, an experienced emergency veterinarian with a unique background in emergency medicine. Before transitioning to veterinary care, she spent 10 years as an EMT/paramedic, a profession that shaped her love for the fast-paced, unpredictable nature of emergency medicine. Dr. Henry enjoys the challenge of diagnosing and treating animals in critical situations, and she brings this expertise to Lifeline Animal Urgent Care every day.

With a special interest in dermatology and allergies—driven by her own experience with two dogs who struggled with food and environmental allergies—Dr. Henry is passionate about helping pets feel better and live more comfortably. She approaches each case with compassion, understanding that sometimes less hands-on interaction is needed to allow animals to feel safe and relaxed.

At home, Dr. Henry shares her life with two dachshunds: Dodger, a 13-year-old rescue from the Humane Society, and Jimmy Dugan, a 4-year-old Standard dachshund adopted after being relinquished as a parvo puppy. These two dogs hold a special place in her heart, and their companionship helps her empathize with every pet owner she works with.

Dr. Henry's most memorable experience as a veterinarian was the loss of a young puppy who passed away under her care. Although heartbreaking, this experience reminded her of the deep bond between animals and their families—a bond she strives to honor in every patient she treats.

Outside of work, Dr. Henry is a huge baseball fan and enjoys traveling to MLB stadiums with close friends as part of a "Bucket List" tour. Always eager to learn, she continues to expand her skills through hands-on courses in ultrasound and surgery. Dr. Henry’s goal at Lifeline Animal Urgent Care is to provide compassionate care, guiding pet owners through challenging moments with reassurance and expertise.
